The Last Seven Plagues poured out - War in Iraq - 2003

The Last Seven Plagues - The River Euphrates dried up to make way for the Kings of the East

The Seven Last Plagues are generally thought to be going to be poured out at Har Meggido in Israel, which is actually called Armageddon but it now appears to be in Iraq at Ar Ramada, and this final battle has already been fought.

This prophecy starts atRevelation 15-16:21

15(1) I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven last plagues—last, because with them God’s wrath is completed.

The questions arise

1) Why is God venting his wrath and on whom?

2) Why would God want to exterminate us, when he has promised to send Jesus soon to take us to a place which he has especially prepared for us?

3)If we are going to die anyway, it doesn't make sense that God would pour out his wrath on us now. Why not just let us die normally?

The truth is that when trouble befalls us, some people traditionally blame God, as they did in the days of Noah, and say he is punishing us. But we know now, with the benefit of modern knowledge, that the Great Flood was worldwide and almost certainly caused either by melting polar ice or some claim, a comet may have been responsible.

God was the one who actually saved Noah and his family by warning them and telling them to build the ark! So was God trying to bring an end to the earth then, and is he trying to do so now? I think not on both counts!

Here the "wrath of God" is not the wrath of the omnipotent being whom we normally refer to as God with a capital "G" but the wrath of the so-called "god of the earth", who vowed to exact revenge for 9/11 and was identified previously in the prophecy of The Four Horsemen as George Bush!

If you haven't already read this prophecy, please do so now before continuing this section and the last seven plagues prophecy will then make more sense as a natural continuation of 9/11

If you have already read the Four Horsemen Prophecy, remember what was said after the event:

Hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand before it?

“He who sits on the throne”, in this case, means the “throne” of the United States of America, not God’s throne, neither was it God’s day of wrath but the wrath of the USA, which the public had called for and which Bush had promised at the time, in retribution for 9/11. The pouring out of these plagues then, is the wrath of the USA and this prophecy can therefore be identified as the The War on Iraq in 2003, which was the propmised retribution.

Revelation continues:

2 And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God.

These are the Allied Troops who had been victorious in the Gulf War in 1990 and had overcome "the Beast" and those Iraqi soldiers who had (been forced to) worship the beast and his image

3 and sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb: “Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations. 4 Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.”5 After this I looked, and I saw in heaven the temple—that is, the tabernacle of the covenant law—and it was opened. 6 Out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues. They were dressed in clean, white linen and wore golden sashes around their chests. 7 Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever. 8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

The Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath

1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out the seven bowls of God’s wrath on the earth.”

2 The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

3 The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.

4 The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.

These are very similar but not exactly the same as the accounts of battle in the Gulf War, as of course, they would be.

5 Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say: “You are just in these judgments, O Holy One, you who are and who were;

(Addressing George Bush here, of course, not God!)

6 for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.”

(Referring to those killed in 9/11)

7 And I heard the altar respond: “Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are your judgments.”

(Righteous deeds of Geoge and Tony Blair again!)

8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. 9 They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.

10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony 11 and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

(The throne of the Beast is, presumabably either Bagdad or Iraq)

12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.

This is the most interesting part of the prophecy! Obviously the Euphrates indicates that the battle is still in Iraq. Can there be any doubt that this is the wrath of the USA rather than God's wrath or that this is the War in Iraq?

To "prepare the way for the kings from the East" is often interpreted as a prophecy announcing an invasion in the "last days" from Russia or China, superpowers from the east, when the west will be involved in a major conflagration with them at "Armageddon".

Since this is supposed to have not happened yet, when it does, this must be "the end" for us all. But will it? Maybe, if this is part of the War in Iraq, it has already happened or is currently happening because the problems in Iraq are not yet over.

Maybe the Kings of the East have been misunderstood?

In the prophecy of The Bottomless Pit it was said "they had a king over them whose name was Abaddon" and we decided that "Abaddon" was, in fact, Osama Bin Laden, incredibly identified in Revelation Ch 9/11.

(If you haven't already read this prophecy about Abaddon it may be a good idea to review it here before continuing)

If this terrorist leader can be referred to as a "king" then maybe the "Kings of the East" are also terrorist groups from territories to the east of Iraq, like Pakistan and Afghanistan? As of 2015, are there any such bands of terrorists in Iraq?

I don't think you will need that question answered because everybody knows the terrible answer with groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda in the news daily having filtered into Iraq from the EAST.

So yet another prophecy is fulfilled and, as bad as the news is of the arrival of factions like ISIS in Iraq and Syria, it seems, as usual with these prophecies, not as life-threatening to the whole world as the previously-anticipated nuclear conflict with Russia or China.

But make no mistake about the seriousnes of these terrorist organisations. They are going to fulfill the Armageddon prophecy with a final battle at Har Meggido soon! But against whom?

13 Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty. 15 “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.” 16 Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

17  The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!” 18 Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. 19 The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed.

This great city, assuming Iraq is the "city" in question, has of 2015 definitely "split into three" distinct parts and you can read the report here for this amazing result.

God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath.

"In other words: when he (George Bush) gave Iraq the cup filled with the "wine of the fury of his wrath", he remembered 911 when:

20 Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. 21 From the sky huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell on people. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.

But wait a minute! If this is the fury poured out on Iraq and it looks like it is, because it says it "split into 3 parts"

Verses16/17/18 say: (Just before the "City splits into 3"): Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon......The seventh angel poured out his bowl .....saying, “It is done!”.....Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, ... and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake.

So the final plague which we have just identified as being poured out on Iraq is identified in Revelation as Armageddon. So this was the final battle before Jesus returns and identifying Armageddon with Har Meggido has been a terrible misinterpretation for many years!!

Armageddon appears to have already happened and it was in Iraq, not Israel! To further complicate matters, this "last battle", allegedly one of the bloodiest battles since the Vietnam War, was at Ar Ramada which sounds very much like Armegeddon!
