Judgement Day

Judgement Day will not be until the end of the 1000 year kingdom. We know that because the Bible tells us “the dead (those who have not survived the tribulation) will not live again for 1000 years.” But why is that?

Probably because the sheer number of people who would have to be supported for 1000 years on the New Jerusalem, which is in orbit around the earth while the earth is “renewed”, is just too many! Even if they could be accommodated, it obviously makes sense to wait until the earth has been renewed and there is then room to rehouse everyone.

At that time everyone, including those who boarded the New Jerusalem alive, will be judged. We will not deal with the first and second death because no one is going to die at Judgement Day! It will just be a reclassification! So how can we all be judged? Where are all the records kept?

A complete, compact and accurate record of a person’s life is the one stored in each individual’s brain, much of it, presumably, in the subconscious. With the correct equipment to “read” the person’s brain, a complete record of the person’s life might be retrieved. Are the people being judged the one “seated on the thrones”, rather than those carrying out the judging? If so, are they about to have their memories “read” and “retrieved”? Are there “scanners” at work here?

If you consider this to be too much like a sci-fi story, just look at a new developments in computers announced recently. On 4th February 2012 an article appeared in a daily newspaper to announce that a computer has been developed to read thoughts. A full page of the details was published in The Mail on Sunday on 5th February 2012.

The article reads: “Neuroscientists at the University of California Berkeley put electrodes into the skulls of brain surgery patients, to monitor information from their temporal lobes. As the patient listened to someone speaking, the computer program analyzed their brains and reproduced the words they had heard”.

As far as the Bible is concerned, only those “whose names are written in the Book of Life from the beginning of the world” will be resurrected. But what is this “Book of Life” and how can dead people be brought back to life??

Modern science has advanced today to the point where scientists can clone an animal, given a sample of tissue or bone, even if the animal is dead. But this is the very beginning of the cloning age and of decoding the human genome. In theory, given the DNA code of an individual, a new clone could be created from this information alone, without a sample. Is it possible that this “Book of Life” has the DNA records of every person who has ever lived in it?

If a “Book of Life” does exist, it would have to be on a computer infinitely larger and more powerful than any we have developed today, or can even imagine. However, looking at scientific advances in the last 50 years, it is not impossible to envisage that a race, sufficiently advanced to build “The New Jerusalem”, could have the technology to have developed this capability.

How far back would this information go? Would it go back to the first homo-sapiens or only 2000 years, to the time of Jesus?

Developing a new body from the known DNA, however, would not resurrect the original individual. The clone would have none of the memories, or experiences of the original being. So how could we put the original memories into a newly created clone?

The brain is very similar to a computer! It can absorb information and store it as a memory. On a computer, a memory can be easily uploaded elsewhere, for instance to a disc or another computer. In fact, once a day, a computer is regularly backed up to a server, where a complete record can be stored and maintained as a reserve should the original computer fail. It can then be downloaded at any time in the future from the server, on to a new computer, even after the old computer has “died”.

In theory then, a memory could, given the technology, be downloaded from the information held on “the server” and transferred into the new clone. The new individual would then have all the memories of the original and even look like the “original!”

But one question remains. How can a human memory be uploaded to a “computer” in the first place and is there any evidence to suggest it is actually happening?

Spiritualists claim to have photographed a barely visible, silver stream of energy leaving the body on death, which they claim is the “soul” departing to “heaven”.  Some have claimed that the same phenomenon occurs when a person sleeps, although in this case the “soul” remains attached to the body by the silver thread, whereas on death the “thread” is broken.

Is it possible that the stream of “energy” photographed could be a stream of “information”, which is being uploaded to a “back-up” facility whenever the body sleeps, with a final back-up when the body finally dies?

If so, in theory, allowing for a huge development in technology, physical resurrection could be a scientific possibility and the development of a computer which can apparently “read” the brain, as discussed previously, is a huge step in the direction of recording memories. A step presumably taken long ago by our “Guardians”

11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who sat upon it; from his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, by what they had done.

Note there are two books, just as we discussed earlier. One is the Book of Life containing the DNA information, the other “book”, actually a computer, could contain the memories.

Although the “Book of Life” is frequently mentioned throughout the Book of Revelation, this is the first and only time this second book is mentioned and gives must give some support to this incredible theory.

(13) And the sea gave up the dead in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead in them, and all were judged by what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.

Figuratively, Death and Hades have been terminated. They no longer exist, but our spiritual “mentors” cannot resist one last reminder that if we fail to toe the line, we too will go into the fire!

This is the second death, (for those who have been resurrected, otherwise it would be the first death for those who had survived the Great Tribulation) the lake of fire; 15 and if any one's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

The last statement about the fate of anyone whose name “is not written in the book of life” should strike terror into those who have previously been labelled “those who dwell on the earth, whose names are not written in the Book of Life”

Most unfair on Muslims, who make up a quarter of earth’s population, who all believe in Jesus and most of whom expect him to return! Whoever labelled them as such obviously either didn’t give much thought to the subject of the Muslim faith, or really didn’t care!

This illustrates just how much the original texts have been corrupted over the centuries by those who have been able to do so, to promote their own interests and interpretation of the Bible because the Bible makes clear that its message is for all races and nationalities and if there is a Book of Life, I’m sure everyone’s name will be in it, at least from the date it was established!
